In the year 2000, when a troupe of college actors under my supervision was flung into a cafeteria with over 600 middle-school strangers (and no other supervision!), I learned that theatre could be an exceptional tool for every educator.  After that momentous day, I sought out the Franciscan CreAct School in Idaho, learned much from its founder, Mother Dorothy Prokes, Ph.D., FSE, and went on to gain my Ph.D. in theatre in 2008.

Since then, incorporating theatre into education has been a constant in my life, whether I volunteered at a homeschool co-op, or taught CCD or college or fifth grade. After conferring with Dr. Denise Donohue at the Cardinal Newman Society, Our Lord has put it on my heart to make my knowledge and experience with this most powerful of pedagogies available to every Catholic educator. Together we can enable your entire school community to Speak Better, Move Better, Create, Collaborate, Reflect, Remember and Think--all Better.
